From Local Roots to Global Threads.

Founded in the 1991s, Spintex Eswatini (Pty) Ltd began with a single goal — to produce high-quality cotton yarn for the textile world. What started as a local operation in Eswatini’s industrial hub of Matsapha has grown into a respected name in the African and global yarn market.

However, in 2018, Spintex faced liquidation. The company was subsequently purchased in 2019, and since then, significant investments have been made into proper control labs, machinery, and research and development to enhance quality and efficiency.

Today, our yarns power weaving and knitting companies across Southern Africa, and are exported to markets in Europe, Asia, and beyond.
